2 Finished Paintings for Christmas

Okay, so thankfully I'm getting some things done.
Today we gots TONS of calls from real estate companies telling us that our application was accepted (YAY FINALLY!!!) so now it's just a matter of picking the best house for us and moving our stuff in there before James has to fly out again.

Since I didn't go out and be productive, I decided to stay in and be productive (sort of).

One of my roommates has been constantly asking about this skull painting I've been working on (and he rarely brings up the same subject more than once).  So today it hit me.  Why not finish the thing and give it to him for Christmas??  All it was doing was sitting in a corner in the room unfinished, why not?


So I finished it:


Originally it was going to be crayon rainbow tears, but he's not a colorful kind of guy.
And since James won't be seeing my blog for a while, I'll go ahead and post one of his that I painted for Christmas as well:
The sand is real sand.  We both like Naruto so I thought this would be a good idea, though I don't think he likes Gaara to much, lol
So I still have tons more to go, but at least that's two presents out of the way.... I better kick it in to high gear!

Christmas stress!


Does anyone else feel like this around this special time of year?

If you don't then please tell me how you keep yourself from going batshit crazy.  
I'm a procrastinator.  
I'm sure the secret is to shop early, but....you can always do it later, right?

Currently, my problem is that I don't have much money money to spend, but I've got several people to get gifts for.  I've got a huge list of paintings/drawings and projects to complete before the big day, I'm really not sure I'll be able to finish them in time!

I would post pictures right now, but...

First Post!!! OMG!LAWL!!

Nope, sorry. 
Couldn't be avoided.  Can't help it.  You gotta do a pointless "First Post" post when you first start a blog, and if your first post actually involves anything of value, you probably have too much time on your hands....and a blog worth reading.
